📄 TERMS & CONDITIONS Phoenix Gas and Heating

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Phoenix Gas and Heating, including gas, heating, boiler services, and emergency call-outs. By booking a service, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms.

2. Qualifications & Safety

  • All work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers.
  • We comply with all relevant safety and building regulations.
  • Proof of certification is available on request.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are free and valid for 30 days.
  • Prices are inclusive of labour and materials unless otherwise stated.
  • Emergency call-outs may be charged at a higher rate depending on time and urgency.
  • Additional work not quoted will only be carried out after customer approval.

4. Appointments & Access

  • We aim to attend all appointments on time. If we are delayed, we will inform you as soon as possible.
  • Customers must ensure clear access to the work area and secure any pets or valuables.
  • Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a call-out charge.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or card.
  • Late payments may result in additional fees or legal action to recover costs.

6. Cancellations

  • Customers must give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Emergency call-out cancellations within 1 hour of the booked time may be charged a minimum call-out fee.

7. Guarantees & Warranty

  • New installations may come with a manufacturer’s warranty (typically 5–10 years).
  • Labour is guaranteed for 12 months unless stated otherwise.
  • We are not liable for faults caused by misuse, third-party interference, or lack of maintenance.

8. Liability

  • We take every care to complete work to a high standard, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings or time.
  • Customers must report any damage or issues within 48 hours of job completion.

9. Customer Responsibilities

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their system is in a suitable condition for work to be carried out.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe there is a health or safety risk.

10. Complaints

We aim for 100% customer satisfaction. If you're unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us within 7 daysand we will do our best to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
